Demetae (Robert Woodward.)
Techno, Electronica, Disco.
Demetae is the techno-centric alias of Powerful Recordings boss Robert Woodward. Having emerged from the underground club scenes, Woodward embarked on the Demetae project back in 2014 to explore the extremities of cerebral, rave-primed techno.
In his sets and releases, elements of jungle, breakbeat and modular synthesis are just as present, as he regularly cuts and splices together a heady concoction of mind melting, sonic hedonism. On March 2022, Demetae’s first EP in five years lands, and sees years of experience built from DJing to diverse crowds and a wide spectrum of electronic music tastes, folded into an essential compendium of addictive, dancefloor wizardry. With more music on the horizon and a chunky summer season lined up, Demetae will continue to follow his unpredictable, adventurous journey to the edges of the techno map. Stay tuned for the next stop. -Mike Warburton (Bail/Barium Network) writer for Skiddle
Kashpitzky (Guy Kashpitzky)
Guy Kashpitzky, better known as Kashpitzky, has dedicated the past Three years to defining his own unique sound as a producer and DJ. In less than one year in the club scene of his hometown, Guy landed a permanent residency at the highly regarded “Bootleg” Club.
Born in Tel-Aviv (Israel), Guy etched out his musical path as a guitarist in a Metal-Core band. This has given him a wild edge and a certain "freshness" to emerge onto the Techno scene of today with. He's currently preparing himself to deliver a unique selection of musical craft for the new decade. Kashpitzky was one of the founders of “V-DOOY” - illegal raves in the heart of Tel-Aviv during the years 2016-2018 and off-course a resident DJ at those parties. His energetic productions, but yet, deep and groovy, are one of the main keys of his unique definition of Techno and electronic music in general. In his young age (23), Kashpitzky took a big step and relocated himself to Berlin. Only few months after and Guy already have a busy schedule of releases worldwide in labels such as “Powerful Recordings” (UK) and “Induxtrial Records” (SPN).
"Founded a year ago following a chance encounter in Ibiza, TRAXSHNN is the production and live duo of Robert Woodward (AKA Dematae), and Adam Bamber. After realising they both held a deep obsession with techno and all things modular, it wasn’t long before the project took off, with the two members commuting between Lancashire and the West Country to develop their ideas.
In its relatively short tenure, TRAXSHNN has already found its own unique voice, with stripped down hardware jams benefiting from huge doses of modular wizardry. Their live sets deliver a heavyweight tussle of hard-hitting body shots, with cerebral noodling and stretched and distorted vocal extracts continuously evolving throughout, keeping the mind alive with unfamiliar sensations.
This year saw the duo’s debut on Powerful Recordings with three searing live cuts, providing a snapshot into the work they’ve been producing of late. Mastered from uncut live jams, the three tracks capture the hectic energy of TRAXSHNN in the live setting, with technically precise, micro sounds riding on top of raw, degraded percussion and a brutal low end.
More releases are in the pipeline too, with this year promising at least one more EP on Woodward’s Powerful Recordings, as they continue to expand their musical horizons through the dark arts of modular synthesis, delivering techno that truly dazzles the senses".
Sted Mørk (Nando Lopez.)
Sted Mørk (from Valencia, Spain) Has recently began to dominate the Techno music scene, and rightfully so. With all of his productions recorded on outboard modular synths and euroracks, his work ethic is matched with his current position in the scene.
Eldon Audio (John Quigley, Ryan Millyard)
Minimal Deep/Tech, Techno
A duo from the North-West that gives great teaching to the dance floor on not just music, but how to have a good time. Known widely for their hilarity, these two have the special bond of a slapstick duo whilst being able to throw together some of the grooviest rhythms known to man. Having a unique personality mixed with an even more unique taste in music gets you places in this industry, so watch out!
Barium Network (Mike Warburton.)
